Bush - morning glory

Bartlett, TN(Zone 7b)

Ipomoea carnea sub fistulosa
I was sent these seeds but have no idea what to do with them.
I googled and looked here, but didn't really find info on how to sow them properly. I'm not even sure what the bush looks like. Can anyone tell me the size of these and how to plant these? Thanks bunches

Hi! Here is the DG plantfile for Bush MG: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/52996/

I have a very large one of these which I cut back and am rooting the cuttings in water. The main plant originated from a single seed. It grows just like a shrub. Not a vine at all, but sturdy, upright trunk and branches.

Thanks Becky, I saw that earlier, but it doesn't say how to sow the seeds. I guess I just do them like anything else.

Seed needs nicking. Nick seed coat with knife, soak in water overnight. Plant.

Thank you Kay. That's what I was looking for!

i just nick the seeds and plant in moist soil. i dont even soak mine.

LOL! I didn't even nick mine. Just planted. Seeds are seeds, I guess. They hit the ground, obtain moisture, sunlight, heat, etc. and before ya know it ... there sprouts a plant! :-)

Good luck with your seeds. The bushes and blooms are really pretty!

lol ~ I soak but don't nick; Unless they LARGE and white seeds, like a Moonflower~
Have fun!

looks to be some type of legume...and based upon the number of scars on the stem,it doesn't seem to be a very recent sprout...
