I actually caught both parents on the eagle nest!
Webcam of Hummingbird Babies in Nest!
Thanks for the eagle link. It sure is a clear picture. One of the adults is on it now and is just gorgeous.
the eagle mom was awake much of the night 7 I wonder if it's the red light so close or if they are typically awake muck of the night.....When do they sleep?? Does the male Eagle bring food?
I believe they take turns on the nest so that either one could get food.
Has any one been watching this? Still dark in Ca. right now but the Eagles in Va. have 3 eggs.
I have been watching the hummingbirds every evening, they are close to leaving the nest, will have to check in on them later this a.m. Then I'll move on to the eagles.
I check in on both a couple times a day. The eagles are easier viewing for my eyes!
Just saw Mom feeding her 2 babes!
So neat to be able to watch them grow.
I think I'll put the Eagle Nest link in it's own thread.
Here it is.

Many thanks. I have also now read the Hummingbird Net so I now know a lot more. I have also ordered some high powered binoculars so that I will know when Mum is away and can take some photos without any disturbance.
I haven't seen very many other hummers in the garden, although I have plenty of flowers, perhaps they are busy with their own nests.

Here's another one. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/hummingbird-nest-cam
Oh good another one!
Just saw Mom feeding her little ones!
What it is showing right now is mom feeding which was pre-recorded. It says that in the upper right hand corner of the video.
Oh darn Well it's always nice more than twice. :-)
Wow the babies are getting huge!
how do they stay in the nest!
It is about to overflow isn't it!
Gee I got to see poop action & some preening..now it looks like it is nap time.

So darn cute!
Awwww :-)
These babies should be flying any day now I think. So cute!
They better, they both can't fit in that nest much longer...LOL!!
These 2 are so cute! Anytime now..
When I first saw all of those ballons on their website, I thought that they had flown the coop! Like you say Pelletory, any day now.
aww, i just saw mom feeding them boy that microphone is good, you can hear here buzzy wings.
here is the fledge...a peson was removing a spiders web & they flew...but were neaarly ready & had been flapping their wingsfor a couple days http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/1198167
That's sweet. Shame they had to be scared off though.
Well gosh, they had been ok with the person cleaning the camera a couple of times and redoing the box that it was in. I wish the fledge had been "less traumatic", but if you don't blink, you can see them off.
