That is just too cute for words...the Mother is still on the nest. Lucky that she built the nest out of the wind! Looks like the nest was built on a decorative patio light...I want one! Thanks for the link Pelle!

She's really picked a nice sheltered spot for that nest. Cute! I wonder where in Calif. this nest is? My hummers are doing the mating thing of going straight up in the air and taking a nose dive straight down.

This is soooo neat! I live near Sunnyvale, and am currently spying on a nest by my front door! The eggs haven't hatched yet...I'm taking pics though :-).

It looks like it's nice and sunny in Sunnyvale. There's no sign on Hummette on the cam...perhaps she went off for a little snack.

She just got back to the nest. Fed them, worked on the nest a bit, and then snuggled down for a rest/baby warming. So cute!
