Ishidatani seeds wanted
Martin, I recently saw "Ishidatane" seeds on Ebay USA for around $10 @ buy it now, plus shipping. I can't remember anyone on the mg forum ever growing them, so they probably don't have seeds for trade. Frank
Frank, I got some already, thanks.
Martin
I grew "Ishidatane" last season, but didn't get any seeds. I grew the vine in the Fall and the frost came through early and wiped them out before the pods ripened. :-( I will try to grow them again if I have some seeds left. Not sure if I do or not ...
Martin - I am glad that you got your hands on some seeds. I can't wait to see all your vines this summer! :-) Your new garden is going to look awesome! :-)
As a matter of fact, Becky, I will be starting some nils today if I don't have to do any urgent translations. It seems the winter is over now here in Morocco, we have had plenty of rain this year, but since Monday the sun has come out every day. As I don't knick my seeds, I need a minimum temperature to get them going.
I remember last year I made the mistake and sowed early. These plants didn't have a good start and I thought I should have waited another 3 weeks or so. But I would think that also depends a great deal on the microclimates one has in the house or garden. My East balcony catches every ray of sunshie, so I guess I can start early sowing earlier this year, but won't take any risk by using precious seeds....

I am glad, Joseph, I hope that one's you sent me will arrive here on Monday via Germany.
