** BINGO **

^_^ I'm just lurking and thought I would throw in a "Bingo" holler to keep y'all on your toes! I haven't been able to keep up with the game to see how everyone is doing but Congrat's to whoever the lucky winners are! It's been a long time since I've played and I hope maybe next game I will be able to get in on the fun!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Lin how are things going with you and you family? I really hope you can play next time.

(Zone 1)

Hi Diane ... things are okay. My Dad passed away last week and we are grateful that he is no longer suffering. The hospice nurses had a lot of trouble controlling his pain for a couple of days but were finally able to change his medication and he passed peacefully.

(((((Lin)))))

(Zone 1)

Thanks Critter, hugs are always so comforting and so nice, even generated over the wires through the computer!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I was teary for you and at a loss for words... I know those last few days with your father must have been so hard, not wanting to see him in pain but still not really wanting to let him go. When I run out of words, I resort to hugs!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Lin,
I am so sorry about your dad.The only comfort I can offer is to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Lynn

(tish) near Atlanta, GA(Zone 7b)

Lin. I am so very sorry. His peace must be a blessing although his loss is heavy. tish

(Zone 1)

Thank you all, I really do appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I always say one can never have too many folks praying for them!

I know my Dad is in a better place where there is no suffering and pain and that is comforting to know.

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

my heart goes out to you Lin.Hugs

Brownsville, KY(Zone 6a)

Lin,
So sorry to hear of your father's death. I recently lost my older brother (age 59) to leukemia. He's often in my thoughts, and even though he's physically gone, he's still with me in a way,

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Oh,Cicada, how sad for you.I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers too.
Lynn

(Zone 1)

Shirley, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother at such a young age. I truly believe God has a plan. Your brother must have been needed in Heaven more than here on earth.

Bonnie: Are you still set for your trip to Florida next week? Please give me a call one day during the week so we can meet for lunch or something! I'm not far from New Smyrna Beach ... about 15 minutes! I don't drive on the Interstate anymore, makes me a nervous wreck even as a passenger, but I do drive U.S. 1 quite often. I look forward to meeting you!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Awww Lin.....I'm sorry. You will never lose him completely b/c you carry him in your heart---the way you want to remember him.

(Zone 1)

So true! My Mom and I were so very close and she passed 4 years ago this month. I feel her presence every day and still chat with her!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Oh Lin I am so sorry. I know you will miss very much. I still after all this time miss my parents.
(((((((((Lin)))))))

Cicada I am sorry for your loss also. Here is a (((((((((Cicada))))))) for you also.

There have been so many ill and passing lately.
Makes one pause and think.

Highland, IL

My heart goes out to all of you. Losing someone is really tough. When my Dad passed away, my boss told me that every day you would think of them and be sad, but the day you think of them and smile you know you are healing. he then passed away 2 days later. But, he was right. I wish all of you your happy thought!!!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Lin}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I am so sorry for your loss of your father... He is in a much better place now...
