For the yankee's among us--lunch today; washed, in the colander for a quick chill in the fridge. Don't worry, I'll wish I had ya'lls lettuce come April-October here....

Strange, odd and curious veggies
That is really lovely lettuce. I noticed yesterday that I have a few little mache plants growing. Pretty amazing when you consider how cold and dry it has been here. Maybe I can get some water on them this afternoon. Mache is great about reseeding itself.
