Has anyone rec'd a 2009 catalog from The Lily Garden? The last one I have is Fall 07/Spring 08 which is what I used to place an order on Jan. 10 of last year. Seems like there should be a new one since then. Website not updated either...Am I missing something? Just curious...
2009 Catalog from The Lily Garden
The 08/09 catalog was sent out last fall. Since you did have an order last year but did not receive the new catalog, you might want to contact them. They send out the same catalog in the fall and spring so I always get two copies of it.
As far as the web site goes, I don't think they had anyone with the time to update it last year.
Thanks Pard...I'll contact them directly!
I received a 2009 catalog yesterday. The format is different and it's hard to miss. They have added a nice section on peonies, both lactiflora and tree types.
Donna
The Lily Garden has peonies? Or do you mean B&D Lilies?
DUH! Thank you Magnolia. My mistake. The catalog was from B&D.
Donna
No problem. I just have never known the Lily Garden to grown peonies. It sort of just shocked me.
I never got a B&D catalog this year at all. Perhaps my name just deletes itself from the list automatically. I'm certainly a customer of theirs. Maybe it's my mailman again...making sure he gets what he wants from them before I have a chance at it ^_^
I suspect that mine never drops off because I added my name to their e-mail list. The only problem with that is the notice of special sales that they send to you. Hard to resist!
Donna
I just got mine on Monday so they must still be mailing some out.
I am so happy to report that The Lily Garden updated their website. It looks great and I like the new index feature. It's always lily season in my mind, so I thought I'd share with you the link:

Magnolia,
Thank you for the link. Now I can get a great preview!
Donna
Don't you just love that little chunka-muffin baby?! :)
Adorable!
Thanks for the link. Thank you so much. Now I can covet and covet and.... I want to buy and buy and buy but hubby says NO!!!!! Nothing! Nada! Zilch! We're moving sometime this summer or fall so he's cut me off. But I can still make lists so I can order when we get to our new house which we haven't even seen yet. I told the agent, top priority is yard suitable for gardening. Who cares about the house as long as I can have my garden.
Way to go Yehudith. My mantra, smaller house for a bigger yard!
Donna
Yes! Yes! Yes! And just think, the less I spend on the house the more I'll have to get the garden in right away!
That the way to go!
