Weed Woman, hope everything is ok with you. Like Star said, that is a very massive fire, deliberately set from what I read. Our thoughts are with you.

Terri, your tweek is tops!

Coffs Harbour, Australia

Hi all, thanks for the concern. We are all good in our part of the country, thank goodness! Its been very hot, dry and windy, but not as dry as the country down south. all those poor people, homeless, losing all their possessions and some, their lives! It really has been a bad week for the Australian people, and it could happen to any of us who live in the tree belts!
Amazingly, the public has banded together and raised over $40,000,000 toward helping the survivors to get back on their feet. We really are a giving bunch!
Anyway, I'll pop on over to the valentines thread and take a look.

Thanks for checking in with us we have all been concerned. We have been following the stories and they are horrific sadness for so many, so glad to hear that much needed assistance is coming in.

elle, don't you go getting yourself stuck in the mud. I can just see you headed out with them hens and getting knee deep in the muck! As for you blossom, you be extra careful cause I imagine you face down in it laughing and chocking on every bit of the slop!

Good to hear you got hens a laying, we don't have any critters exceptin for us and stray cats and course the deer, turkey and fox in the field, but don't thinks those turkey are a layin, least not that we have found although they have quite a new brood every year marching over there in the woods.
