Midwest Funny Farm Hatch Commencing...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Aren't we supposed to hope for more girls than boys?

Clarkson, KY

Moira, Mordred, Morgaine, Scheherazade. Fanny. Lil Nell...

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Scheherazade. She's so cool. Great name Cousin Nut ^_^ I choose Galadriel.

Clarkson, KY

jealous now...we get any more romantic with these and we'll be thrown off the forum, though. lol

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Is there a roo that can live up to -- Mr. D'Arcy??????

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

That's too hottie for a roo methinks brigidlily.

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

{{{{{sigh}}}}}}} you're probably right.

Alas.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

I leave you all alone for a few hours and...

hehehe I love all the names!!

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Billy will be happy to know there is a Spiderman and Speed... LOL You have the boys, I have the girls

(Zone 7b)

Can we have an Alexander and a Tasha i love those names?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Excellent suggestions Harmony! Those sound a tiny bit Russian, which makes me think of more names from some of the great Russian writers.

I probably need an Olga and a Nadia, and perhaps a Chekov.

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Yuri and Lara!

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Yes! And what was the name of the first dog in space...I forget...

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

I can just Picture Claire out there calling all her chickens.... WHEW by the time she gets thru the list, I am thinking she will be winded... or tounge tied... I would like to be a fly on the barn wall when she does that....

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

And I can hear little Emma in the corner pouting because Claire forgot her and now she has to start all over.

Clarkson, KY

Y'know both of my Russian profs were named Ludmila, both Lyoodmeela Vasseeelyevnas actually....has rather an exotic ring to it once you get going...

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

My Russian lit prof loved to say the name of the town (if I'm spelling it right) "Nizhny Novgorod." Sounds like Russian for "winter's nap."

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Sputnik You people have way too much fun whilst I do homework. I will just have to stop working. hehehe

Clarkson, KY

The only thing I retained from my Russian classes was tongue twisters. And only the names of the Soviet authors from lit. Worst grade I ever got in my life came from a Russian Lit prof fresh home from the mental institution. Almost kept me from doing the study abroad program. When the program director asked me why my grade was so bad I told him "I did all the work and never had any earthly idea what he was talking about or what he wanted." He was known for being that way so I got in.lol. Looked about like Mundungus Moody from Harry Potter, but with bright red hair...

Now Mundungus is an interesting name...

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Hmmm... I guess I could name the coop "Hogwarts" and just go crazy from there... name the girls Professors McGonegal, Trelawny, and Sprout?

Clarkson, KY

Would you breed "muggles"???

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

No, that's what we'll call the inhabitants of the compost heap...

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

That is too funny! A hogwarts coop! Or you could call it Henwarts, but that has a sort of different ring to it.

Clarkson, KY

ohdearohdearohdear.....Blogwarts....just think of the possibilities...frogdogbogsnog....

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

No Slytherins allowed!!!

Clarkson, KY

Oh the puns I dare not....

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Snogwarts? Oh Grownut, where did you come up with that one?!

Of course no slytherins allowed. Those are things like minks and stuff that slither into coops.

Clarkson, KY

{{{where, she asks....minks she says....as if you didn't know..}}}

LOL. Snogwarts Under Rock --sounds very British to me...

No pun left un-turned...rrrggghhh.

House about to blow away, may lose power again....

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Just got a weather warning for Friday night here. 6 to 10 inches of snow expected.

Dang it! We just got rid of most of the snow. Urgh...

Clarkson, KY

Just keep yer 'lectric-n-water!!! Was told today the farmer's almanac is calling for another ice storm here on the 22nd. Ermm.

Elbridge, NY(Zone 5a)

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Clarkson, KY

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Grownut what is the Farmers Almanic say about arizona?

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

Okay, now I feel guilty for grousing about the heat down here. Y'all stay warm, and may your eventual spring fever be very contagious.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Snortwart .Stay warm everyone. It's is springish here. ps Claire don't look at the Garden History Items today.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)
