Would you please get a hold of the blue bird and transport him to my back garden. What a wonderful bird. Yes I know, Nevada, desert looking birds. They are great birds but nothing like your blue bird. Please enjoy with my eyes. The hummingbirds arrived here yesterday. Surveying all over the garden. For What? Spider webs. That is what they make their nests out of and I have not dusted the back garden for over a month just not to destroy the spider webs...LOL..

Mz, I have never seen any of those birds with my own eyes. I didn't even know there was a Gray Hawk, he is very cool! You did a great job with all 3.

skwinter, I didn't know that about hummingbirds. I wonder if bits of breakfast comes included?

Good Mornig Donna :-)

Hi Mz, Where did you see the Gray Hawk? Their quite beautiful and rarely if ever do we see one on the forum.

Thanks Again!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Yes!! Thanks for sharing...I never have heard of a Gray Hawk either. Was this at some sort of animal or bird sanctuary?

Marlton, NJ

I know their range is the southern tip of Texas,SE AZ and down.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

I saw him in Belize on the side of the road and thought he was so handsome looking for prey from his perch

Since I've already used up my 3 fav photos I'll start another post with a picture of the Toucan that I saw.

Want to know anything about anything, just ask Google. I asked how do hummingbirds make their nest and pages popped up with all the information. We were 65 degrees today, clear skies. We do this in mid winter, get out, watch the birds, garden and the weather comes back to bite us. Be safe & warm. .

Bumping this up so everyone has a chance to post their pics.
