Klean Kanteen or water bottle that does not leak?

springfield area, MO(Zone 5b)

I am looking for a water container to pack in my kids lunch that does NOT leak.
I have heard someone else suggest Klean Kanteen brand, they are quite pricy. I don't mind paying that I guess if they are that kind of quality. Is anyone familiar with them, or can someone suggest anything else they know of.
Tired of stinky leaky milk!
Thank you

We have a couple klean kanteens and I like them a lot. I've never had one leak. I like that you can get different tops for them plus they come in a variety of sizes. I babysit a boy who brings one with him every day. It has seen a lot of abuse so it has a few small dents around the bottome but it still works great - no leaks at all. LLBean sells bottles similar to klean kanteen but I've never tried them. They're cool though because you can get them in different colours. Ii think they're similar in price.

Another one that a lot of people like are Sigg bottles. They have some really cute ones but they're pricey too. If you'd prefer something insulated the Thermos Funtainer (I think) is insulated. We don't have the bottles but we have funtainer food containers and I really like them. My issue with the bottles is that they have straws - great for water but not for some other drinks.

Yes I know what you mean about the 'straws'.
A pain in the world to clean is an understatement. Impossible is a better description.
I bought some pipe cleaners at wal mart in the craft dept and that is what I use to clean stuff like that.
I try not to buy anything like that. I think they are germy and nasty. !

I will get a couple of the Klean Kanteen ones I guess.
Funny thing is I emailed an ebay seller about them, he sells lots of them, and he told me they don't leak-except for the sippy cup tops, they leak he said. Now who would pay $15 for a cup that leaked?! Especially for a toddler. Pretty stupid. Seems to me they could make better quality products to sell.

That's weird that he said the sippy cup tops leak. The boy I babysit has one and I haven't noticed it leaking. It uses the Avent replacement 'spouts' and I've always found them to be pretty good. I like the sports bottle lid myself. I also like that you can buy the tops separately and interchange them according to your current needs.

I hope you like them.
