CLOSED: Cute as a bug on a daisy!

Is there something wrong with thinking bugs/insects are cute, lol? Anybody recognize this one? It is on a Marguerite Daisy, October 27, 2008. Sierra County, NM.

Nope, nothing wrong with that!

I thought it looked like a hairless Tachinid fly, and sure enough there's a genus of "naked body" Gymnosoma flies in that family. It's a good possibility at least :
