Awww! What a nice family! I love all their names! Bluebell needs to let her ears down though, or she will be drummed out of the LOP club. LOL. About ten years ago, I bought a baby mini-lop from a group of very active 4-Her's Her name was Betty Bunny-she was the sweetest girl! I soon added a Rex-mini-lop mix who was quite the character--very silly. Then my son, in his infinite wisdom, thought I needed another rabbit, and brought me a tiny baby(? Netherland Dwarf lop?), stating the clerk at the pet store told him it was a male. His name was Mr Ashley Wilkes. I was very careful to have Betsy take her out of cage time seperately from the boys, as she was a pure bred that the 4 Her's wanted to breed for show at some point.A few months later, I came home from work to find an undulating pile of fur in "MR" Wilkes' cage! At the time, I lived in a rural area, and my first thought was something had infested the cage! When the shock wore off and I came to my senses, I found 4 beautiful, very mixed breed babies. Soooo cute and very sweet! Of course we had to change Mr. Ashley Wilkes' name to Mrs. Ashley Wilkes. 3 of the babies went to hospital co-workers, and the 4th to the hygienest at my dentist's office. Awhile later, had to move and could not take my 3 rabbits, so they went back to the 4-her's. I really missed having them til I found Columbus, and figured out a way to keep him in my small living space--the clerk in the store told me he is a male.....
Buddy and Patches are adorable! They both look just so happy just to be on the planet!
Phoebesviolets,Bluebell ears lay down.It is just that she can stick them out or lay them back. She is only 10 weeks old. When we got her she laid she ears down all the time it was cute. Now she moves them every which way.
Yea that is one thing it's hard to see what they are until they are older.
and what does one do with so many rabbits are they all as permanent pets or are they to be sold etc.....
Thanks for the compliments on my dog Rose and Phoebe. Rose, your bunnies are cute. I love the Netherland Dwarfs.
