Thank you, Donna.....actually I am staying home, too much to do now while the weather is good..no continual rain, no frost or freezing...just back to Santa Anas and heat. What ever happened to 'mild'? Your madrensis looks much,much better than mine...stocky and sturdy. I have mine in part shade and it's waaay tall and lanky. I'll have to do some more in different spots and see what they can take here...not all of us have your perfect climate..

Hey, Sherry, sorry I missed the day. I took advantage of this glorious weekend to spend all of my waking hours outside. Have a wonderful year. I'm not contributing to your facelift fund, but only because you don't need a facelift. You are super-cute just the way you are.

Oh Zuzu...you haven't seen me in awhile..lol...I don't know who that is looking at me in the mirror. I'm spending all of my time outside too. I know in a couple of weeks I'll be complaining again about needing more rain, but right now it sure is nice.

Wow...look at these roses. You guys are NOT going to tempt me, I am NOT going to think about roses! Where does it all end..lol...? I want ALL of the salvias and ALL of the roses and I'm pretty sure that I want ALL of the hydrangeas too......

Happy belated birthday! Isn't it strange that some of the roses are still blooming. It's almost time to prune them!

Some of my trees are just now losing their leaves, roses that weren't blooming are now and with several weeks of warm weather, everything is going to be thinking it's spring,and then February will come along......
