Can someone go just to buy plants or do you have to register to do that also?

Since this is a convention, there are certain restrictions regarding registration. The show and sales are part of the convention, but not all of the convention.
Anyone can go to show and sales, which are open to the public, whether or not they are registered and whether or not they are Society members.
You must register to attend lectures, meals, trips. A Society member can register with a spouse, partner, guest (all at a lower rate), even if the second person is not a Society member. Then both can attend lectures, meals and go on trips.
If you don't register, you won't be able to attend lectures and mingle with other members at meals and on trips. This is always a good way to get to know others.
"Early Entry Plant Sales" means that entry to the sales room is by registration number. The earlier you register, the earlier you can get into sales.

Hi All;
Yes this is my club that is putting on the show in illinois. We do every year.There will be alot of plants you can purchase. Gary Mikita is a member in this club & we also have another new member who has some new hyrbid streps.The show is for 2 days, sat & sun. mar. 14 & 15th.Always lots of fun. 10 am till 4 :30. each day. Any questions? just ask away.
