she kept the water from going all over the drive way. She even called in a few of her hen friends to help with the water control. Yea still down sizing. Will go back to the auction in 2 weeks. By then I will know exactly which of the hens I want to keep.
help sick chicken
She is on top of the list, righhhhtt? hehehe
What a helpful girl. Thats great DH is all up for building the new coops now. Thats great.
I upsize and down size all the time you have too when you raise them for selling and breeding.
You have too and pardon the phrase weed out the rift raft.
Pigeons need certain character points to be considered a certain breed. My Owls have to have the head flip and the Jabot which is the fluffy feathers that stick out on their neck.
No Jabot then it has to go LOL
FanTails must have full tails and display them over their backs
My old english have to be a certain size and color and even feather pattern or they won't sell.
Glad to hear she's up and about and pulling her weight around there, Tia! It gives the meaning of chicken chores abit of a twist! lol
LOL it sure does. She was helping me yesterday, cleaned out the nesting boxes and spread out some hay. Put hay in all the nesting boxes and she was the official inspector #1. Hubby put in 2 lights out there yesterday and about 9 pm he went to check on them and they were like what the HELL is this light in here DONT you know WE ARE trying to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He felt sorry for them and turned it off. Maybe that will be enough light for them to start laying.
Luvs When you turn on the lights doe's it make your roos crow? I have 3 lights 1 on some young birds another on rabbits and a third on my pigeons water.
Every night when i turn on the lights all the roos start crowing and crow on and off all night.
my pen is far enough away from the house i dont hear them
