Need help starting journal

I am utterly confused with how to start a journal. The help section is worthless and too long. I did Step One. At Step Two it says the click on "add a new item under this category." There is no such phrase on my page! Anyway, can someone help me? I just want to record when and where I planted my seeds and plants this fall.

That's exactly what the journal is for.

The help section, however, is not worthless. Sharon spent many hours putting it together, and I hope she doesn't come in here and see what you wrote about it. :(

Go here: http://davesgarden.com/editgj/journalhelp.php and follow the instructions to the letter. You'll get the hang of it real quick.

You missed a step in the "Step two" section. Go back through it, follow the instructions very carefully (don't skip any steps) and you'll find the section you're looking for.
