Here's an Edo snow bunny -

For anyone interested in garden design, this website allows you to study an Edo garden in the snow in detail, by clicking on "View this image in detail".

-----------------------

In Edo Japan, woodcut artists made prints of birds/animals and flowers/plants that they called kachoga. For morning glories and birds, Hiroshige did a pillar (narrow and tall) kachoga and a larger rectangular kachoga that y'all should keep an eye out for - I can't find links to what I have now.

But this site - http://www.hiroshige.org.uk/ - does have the following 2 others to give you an idea of what Hiroshige did; although, the morning glories especially shine in the larger rectangular kachoga mentioned above.

Thank you for the well wishes Karen and Debra. It was a nice birthday and I think I'll just stay this age from this point forward !

Also, thank you Karen for the links you provided, interesting and fun to visit those sites...

Happy New Year!

Sandy
