Freezing greens: anyone do this?

Phoenix, AZ

I need to cook ahead and make meals as easy as possible without resorting to 'fast food'. A grocery near me always has nice fresh greens - collards, mustard, turnips, kale, etc. - for pretty cheap prices. Here's what I thought I'd try: Wash greens, cut up, remove water with a salad spinner, stuff into Reynold's vacuum bags (quart size), suck out the air with the vacuum thingy and freeze. Do you think this will work? Or how do you freeze greens?
