Love your Starling Methodical. We have these birds here, but they don't come to my suet. I guess they prefer yours. Are you making your own?

Nice shots everyone. I sure wish I could get the variety of birds as you'll. With that said my feeders were the hot spot today. I had all sorts of visitors I have not seen since late summer early fall. They probably come by everyday while I'm at work. I was off today so that's why I saw them.

Marlton, NJ

Great shots everyone!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Got these yesterday morning...but I was in the wrong position so sun glare is bad!

Great shots and pics everyone!

Thanks for always making me feel welcomed too, even though I'm not always on the forum and not getting any pics lately.

I love looking at everyone's pics of they birds that get in their hometown, esp. if we don't get them here!

Love hearing all the bird stories from everyone!

We're all a big happy family here! :-)

Since we got the Bird Files on Christmas, I've been trying to add Birds to the to the Files and just started adding Bird pics to the Files, so I haven't been on any of the Bird Forum threads lately. I'm so happy and excited that we finally got the Bird Files!

Nice shots everyone. Is the Dickcissell still with you Rose? Nice in-flight shots Methodical.

I went kayaking today (I hope that makes me sound like I'm into extreme sports) and stopped on the shore to get this shot of a group of Pied Cormorants and a solitary Silver Gull.

I like the peanut butter log - I think I will try to find a nice piece of wood and make one myself! I'm in love with your pelican. I have such a fascination for them. I would go to the Outer Banks of NC and just sit watching them fly by.

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

ooo, looky! those cormorants are all dressed in formal wear for the new year!

Marlton, NJ

Yes indeed! Nice shot!

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Hi Margaret...yes the Dickcissel is still here! I see you are giving your water camera a work out, that is a cool shot!

Yesterday was so nice that I decided to spend the day outside and soak up some of that thing called sun. I headed for the fields and staked out some of the brush piles but the Red-tailed Hawks had the same idea and most of the birds were in hiding. I did get a long shot of this immature male Harris's Sparrow.

A Song Sparrow was in the same area.

At another location were several Bluebirds and this one landed at the top of a Juniper tree.

There were many Yellow-rumbed Warblers in the same tree but I failed to get a decent shot! I did find several Cardinals though and they were eating the corn we put out for the Bobwhite Quail.

Back at home I spotted these 3 Bluebirds in the dead tree.

You have such a great variety there Rose!

The shot of the pileated is back from summer when it visiting regular. I did hear one a few weeks back. But no recent sightings.

Man, Dellrose you do have such a variety of birds. Are you near lots of woods or something. Btw, nice Blue bird shots. Also, can you give some info on your perches (i.e. makeup, location etc.) Maybe it will help others too to attrack birds. Heck I may want to put some out. I know my peanut butter log is getting lots of attention. You can Dmail so that it won't clutter the thread. But I just thought others may want to know also.

Thanks
