29 is what my station recorded although just a few blocks away it dropped to 22.
My rain barrell is in this tiny niche also, maybe that held some heat.

brrr!!! some plumies will take a lickn and keep on tickn. i had mine covered at that temp and they did fine, too. i don't think i will take any more chances. they will have christmas ornaments next winter in the house. LOL
dang it! I got lucky again. I whined for days on this thread about my 5 year old Hilo Beauty which was not properly overwintered. Imagine my delight as yesterday I discover that of all the plumie cuttings I was attempting to root, the only ones that survived and are putting new leaves are, you guessed: HILO BEAUTY, yeah!
I think Mother Nature has given me a chance to do right by Hilo Beauty. MN is stern, but she can be forgiving also, whew!
