Does anyone know what species this belongs to? It grows on a plant of the Nerium species. The caterpillar is green in the early stages with 2 blue eyespots on its anterior thorax.
CLOSED: CLOSED: Unidentified Green Moth
I believe that this is an oleander hawk moth, Daphnis nerii; Lepidoptera: Sphingidae - see http://tpittaway.tripod.com/sphinx/d_ner.htm for detailed information.
Thank you suunto, that looks like it.
Beautiful!
