Today, while helping a neighbor move hay, we came across this momma dog and her nine pups. She had dug herself a cave between the rolls of hay, and she had her babies. They are less than 2.5 weeks old and look pretty good from the outside when you consider what the momma has been through.
I am feeding Milagra 4 times a day, raw meat and fresh water. She doesn't run from me, but she is very protective of her babies.
The first thing Gary asked was, "what will do with nine puppies?". I told him, one step at a time.
I do not know how to collage all this pics, so I will send a few at a time.
