Weight Loss Challenge Dec.20 - 27

It is cold but clear here this morning. I need to get started on the work for the day. I had an uncomfortable night with my wrist so I won't go to work after all.

Susan, it sounds like your healthy eating plan was broken last night LOL I'll be there tonight.at Brenda's. Then back to healthy eating again until Friday when the children come together..

Pebble,how are you & your family? Any more news about your DD's stolen vehicle? Any suspects? Are you & your family going to get together sometime during the Christmas holidays?

Joann, I'm sure you and your family will be together at some time even tho I know in-laws .need to get some time with the chidfren too. Isn't this Baby B's first Christmas? Or at least her first interactive one? Time gets away from me.

I remember clearly our first five during the holidays & the all the others that we have had a part in raising. Some are now in their 40s, others, like Shad, just out of their teens. So much energy in those days.& so much baking & candy making back then. We use to make plates of goodies or baskets of fruit to the elderly in local nursing homes who didn't have families who would visit & bring gifts. We also used the phone a lot to call our doctor, strangers whose names & #s we just found in the phone book, relatives,etc. & sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas to them. I only remember one stranger who didn't appreciate it.

I learned last night that an empty tube of Sports Creme has over a tablspoon of product left in it when you can't squeeze any more out of it. I cut off the end & was shocked to see so much product left in there. I used some & put the tube into a plastic bag. Since I use so much of that & menthol rubs I'm glad to learn about this money saver. Thought I'd pass this tidbit along.

Ally, how are things at your oh so busy household? I truly do not know how you keep going at that pace. You are amazing.

Anna, will you be playing piano for your church's Cristmas program?

Sue, how are you and your family? Ready for Christmas yet?

I'm so tired of these telemarketers who are from organizations. I just hung up on another one. They don't have to abide by the no call list in our state.

Tina, please keep posting. We so enjoy hearing from you.

Debbie, do you have a big dinner coming up? Will you and your mother get to spend much time with your father?
