Jackie - Pretty cool looking Flying Saucers! Are they large blooms?

Beautiful "Blues", gardenpom!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Becky. They were about 3 inch blooms. Most days that it bloomed, it would have a Heavenly Blue and Flying Saucer bloom. Rarely did it have all three of these blooms open at the same time.

Jackie - Smaller blooms ... hmmm ... the Blue Star that I have growing has large blooms. 4 1/2 - 5 inch blooms. Is Flying Saucers supposed to be smaller blooms? What about Heavenly Blue? Larger or smaller blooms? Anyone know?

Really " Heavently Blue " is a STAR

Becky, These blooms were from 2 yrs ago. It's entirely possible that they were
slightly larger. There's no way that I can remember exactly. It's in a 5 inch pot
so I'm sure it did not reach potential.

Dany - LOL!

Jackie - Hmmm ... just trying to figure out how big flying saucer blooms get. I wonder if anyone else here has grown them?

I know that you're usually not inclined to tag and collect seeds...but one could still hope...(!)

Ooooh... Gardenpom - I love this photo: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5923276 So pretty! Can you believe this weather? It's supposed to be in the low 80's on Christmas day! HA! I want some colder weather! LOL! Doesn't feel like Christmas with these Spring temps! :-) But my plants sure are enjoying the warm weather! I sure just hate running my A/C, though. Ugh!

Darren: be sure to stop thru Kansas and get me on your way to moving to Florida! I love all those blooms, keep them coming! My brother called and he was taunting me with the temps in Tampa where he is spending Christmas.. I am freezing! Love those beautiful blues and purples on those blooms! Happy Holidays! Debra

I love the sky blue colors of these tricolor vines. Awesome!

Thanks. Hope you are having a nice holiday. Just started raining here, although it will be around 80 again today. The rain may be just enough to damage todays blooms.

Melbourne, FL

Most blooms had some damage this morning. This one was OK.
