I have started other plants from seeds, but never delphiniums. I am interested in starting some this year. Has anyone done this, and if so how difficult was it. Thanks

Easy/peasy. Warm germinators and they germinate in 10 - 14 days for me.
Here is a webpage that many commerical growers use

You can also winter sow them now. You will get strong plants.
playing dumb here. by winter sowing, do you mean starting indoors under grow lights or outside? thanks.
I mean sow them and put the box outside in winter. Delphiniums are very hardy. They will germinate in spring and you will have stronger plants than if you sow inside.
