Have a safe trip. Stay warm. It's freezing cold here! 20's
Oh no and that is where I am heading.
Lucky you, I just checked the weather channel and it looks like it's going to warm up to high 50's in the next few days.
Wonderful. I do not do cold very well. To many damage joints.
I a killing a couple of hours before taking the demon child (My hair monster of a dog) to the kennel-he hates the car.
I cut off a piece of my new epi that has the buds on to take with me I hope they open. It lost a lot of the little buds due to the move. I sent out a few of the cuttings of it to some of you. I have my camera with me so if they do open I can take pictures.
That's a lot of buds. Is this a large bloom epi?
No it is small. I get safely up here minis part of a tooth. But the Cutting is safe. I will be in and out.
Sandy the Epi nut
Sandy - I finally had to come over to this forum to see what you all have been talking about. I saw my 1st at Yolie's last week and was fascinated.
I have 6 Christmas Cactus that live inside here in MD and had no idea what they could do outside in a warm climate.
Perhaps when I get down to FL next time I can come by and visit your collection.
I'd definately be up for trading some yard work for cuttings!!!!!!
I'd be better than fric & frak you hired last year!!!!!
You have not seen the mess that is my yard. LOL
What with the freeze and dad being so sick for so long I did not keep up with it. I have plans to redo it but one thing at a time.
I have a lot of different Christmas cactus as well as all the Epiphyllums
I'm interested. You have D-mail Thanks.
Ok The ones I was offering are gone but if you are interested I can send you some form the pink one that is blooming now.
Sandy
Whatever you can spare would be appreciated.
Would you be able to save a little one for me!!!! We cannot get them here in NS!
Amandac Sure. Send me a d-mail and I will put you on my list for cuttings. The pink one that is a off season bloomer will need to be repotted when it stops blooming and I will probable have a few (More than likely a lot)of broken off pieces.
