Check the DavesGarden page for MG acidic /PH levels and check out this page. might help.
I always have problems remembering PH level info ~!!

...lol...Bonkers is Good! thanks for that tip! ,,,pine needles make the soil more acidic....So look here for PH requirements...Last fall I put all kinds of decomposed plants on my Crimson Ramblers and they were quite happy. They just want sun and water mostly.
