Dominique give your dad some time maybe ask if you could have some this spring. Spring is a good time to have babys you don't have to worry about them and the cold.

Ok I will ask him in the spring because I just asked him like a week ago.

Very prettiful wren. My next project is to rip out the driveway to make way for another dahlia bed. I think driveways are very overrated. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

Later this week my brother is coming over to enlarge my PVC green/shade house. And he will put it back together with screws, that way when I want to enlarge it again we can.

I was made an offer for 19 two day old baby muscovie ducks. $5 included the 5gal bucket they were sitting in. Well I immediatly thought "hey duck confit...pate.." so I brought them home.

My 30 year old husband decided it wasnt "comfy" enough in the brooder and moves them into the spare bathroom of our house, complete with babygate......ok well thats just fine.

two months later he is buying minnows to put in the bathtub to show them "how to catch fish like real ducks"......ok people my husband is a navy brat he cant help it.

now I have 19 very large, albeit very beautiful, PET ducks.....4males 15females

le sigh

there goes my dreams of a nice roast duck, let me just run out and buy another 100lbs of corn.....

My miz PittyPat hatched 5 eggs over the summer, bringing my duck population to 11. Ducks are the best! They have been in seventh heaven for the past 5 days since it has done nothing but rain!

I dont know what a miz pitty pat is but I sure like her already! ♥

Miz Pittypat is a little blond Khaki Campbell, and a very good mother, I might add.

; ) Of course I have ducks! I need more to have a proper duck party. Besides, the girls are telling me it's time for a drake. ( Either that or they are telling me they want NOTHING to do with a drake "wink wink")!
