CLOSED: I have found insects in my house

Dear Sir
I have found insects in my house, I do not know what they are, but they have the following description:-
1. they are found on the body or on the cloths
2. when disturbed they jump(they do not fly).
3. they have dark color(black or brawn)
4. they have very small size.
5. they cause allergy to the skin specially on the legs
My home is always clean and my cloths also.
So could you advice on what they could be ? and how to treat them ?.
Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Best Regards

Very difficult to say without being able to see an image. If they are too small to photograph clearly, you may have to submit specimens to someone who may be able to identify them. Please tell us where you live.

so far it sounds like fleas, which can happen if you have pets.. (although my friend swore she got fleas in her house when she got some new carpeting too.)They would make tiny itchy red bumps when they bite. They can hide in the carpet. Maybe you can catch one on a piece of sticky tape to photograph.

Your description sounds like fleas to me also. Even if you don't have pets, you can have fleas. They can live for two years or more without an animal to feed on. They lay eggs and hatch rapidly.
I can remember going to a friend's house that didn't have pets. As I walked toward his door in my WHITE pants, I was immediately covered with fleas. He said they had a lot of stray cats and squirrels in the area. He said he had to spray inside the house all the time because they would hitchhike on his clothes.
If you want to see if that is what it is.....
Put a white sheet or towel in the dryer to warm it and then lay it down on the floor in the room where you have seen them and leave the room for 10 min or so. They will seek the heat. Put one in a bottle and take it by a vet to confirm.

Oops, didn't work. Can you go to Google Images and just enter "fleas"? You'll get good close up pictures right away

Myrtle Beach, SC(Zone 8b)

Can you take a picture of them ??

I'd say for certain these are fleas.
