Is there a trader feedback forum on this site?

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

With the search function disabled, I can't seem to locate a feedback forum for traders. If anyone has the link, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks....Heather

Heather, are you looking for Garden Watchdog? If so, that is in "Products and Sources".

Hi, Thanks for your note,
I'm looking for a feedback forum for dg traders not vendors.

Thanks

Find the person you want to give feedback to or see feedback given, click on their name and it gets you to their personal page. Those options are there.

FYI, they aren't used much, at least for negative feedback, because they aren't anonymous, I guess.

That's too bad Pagan. I never thought about it because I haven't used it much in a long time, but I suppose you are right. Then what good is it???

That should be one for Admin to figure out a solution.

Oh no you don't - I'm not getting involved with that stuff again!

Well, we can't *make* people leave feedback. however, the feedback tool was designed specifically to flag bad traders. It's a little uncharacteristic of us to encourage negativity, but it is a tool to help "weed out" (pardon the pun) bad traders as early as possible.

Traders should not engage in any quid-pro-quo with feedback, so there should not be any retaliation going on--if there is, let us know.

If you leave constructive (negative) feedback that summarizes what went wrong, that should be the end of it. As long as you don't make it a personal rant against a fellow member, you're not likely to engender hostility from the other trader, or his/her friends.

However, if you didn't hold up your end of the bargain, your expectations were unreasonable, or your feedback is full of personal insults, then it stands to reason the other trader is going to feel compelled to return the favor.

(As in most of life, when leaving feedback it is definitely a good idea to practice the Golden Rule, and treat them as you would want to be treated if the roles were reversed.)
