Wow look at that brushy head! Can anyone ID this moth found in Eastern shore of Virginia?
CLOSED: More moths
This one is one of the Snout Moths in the family Crambidae. It looks to me very like the Lesser Vagabond Sod Webworm - Agriphila ruricolella: http://bugguide.net/node/view/76125
Kennedy
Thanks so much Kennedy for this ID. This moth had been in my "UFO" file for some time.
