thankyou every one... becky your a scorpio too :-)
Happy Birthday Colin !!
I have ip. Wrightii seeds for our spring seeds exchange.
Carol and Feringa still an enigma for me - Have you pics ?
thanks dany...
carol are a type of dwarf ipomoea nil... i want to try them in hanging baskets... (or bird cages)
and i haven't a clue what feringa looks like.... i have seen them listed on a seed site and couldn't find anything out about them... and that always gets me more interested....
and thanks for keeping some ipomoea wrightii for me :-))
Happy Birthday!!!
Kylie
Karen, love your pandurata, great pic too.
great pic karen...
thanks everyone :-)
Thanks Jackie and Colin - who knew I. pandurata could take so much shade? It's pale flowers glow nicely out of the shadows, but, of course, are not as prolific as Jackie's that got more sun.
Happy Birthday Colin !!!
Ron
Karen, Your's are no less lovely just because you had fewer blooms.
Makes each bloom even more special. :-)
Colin, did you happen to click on google yesterday? Google was celebrating another birthday on your day of a friend of Ron's muse Salvador Dali - Magritte. Google has some great links for those two surrealists.
Jackie, actually the pandurata in the shade of an overhanging silver maple was crowded with buds, but I suspect my allowing that pumpkin to hoist itself up and through it...not to mention the clematis, had something to do with such few blooms, too.
Well, who needs even a whole flower, anyway? Look at the power of line in Emma's photo and of corolla minus a few bites in Becky's to suggest the whole flower. Those two are on their way to become 21st century Surrealists in their own way - lol.
Ron wants more pics - off to post a couple someplace where I won't be hijacking Colin's birthday party.
Karen
Happy Birthday Colin...I hope you had a glory-ious day!!!
Ronnie - Ooooh! I love that ... "glory-ious day"! :-)
