How do I add a photo?

Greetings from a neophite to the DG site. It is exciting to participate in the huge opportunity this site offers to increase my knowledge. First off, I would like to add several insect species and their photos to the bug files. However, I am not very computer savvy. If there is someone out there who can instruct me how to move a photo from my Picasa program to the DG bug files I would appreciate the assistance.

Welcome!

Scroll down to where it says...Image. Click on the Browse...you should be able to access your photos from there.

I understand how to add a photo, but could you tell me how to add many photos?

I added my dogs to the Pets Forum, and I added them separately. Once there were about 6 posts between mine, the effect that I wanted was lost. (One is a puppy, and one is older and hovering the AC vent).

I also have rose pictures that I would like to keep together.

You have to add them one at a time. If you want to add them in one frame, you have to make a composite pic in your computer and then add it. Otherwise, it's one at a time.

Did that make sense?

It sure does. So if I want to compare my dogs, I need to merge the pictures on my computer, then send them. However, if everyone knows that, then it won't be a surprise that they are not together.
