Some Mold makes you crazy and can kill you too.
Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware sells the test kit.
Has anyone tried it? Is this just a big come-on?
I bet everybody's house has some kind of mold in it. They say they do further testing, For how much?

I did get allergic to the mold in the soil of my house plants a few years ago, and had to give them all away..Then I was O.K.
But beware! A friend of my brother's tested his house for radon, then told the buyers it was tested, and he could not sell it- even though the house tested negative!

Molds can be dangerous, yes. My mother worked in a government building that is most certainly a "sick building"; her doctor told her she HAD to get out of there because her frequent sinus infections were directly linked to the air quality there. And the infections cleared up after she left there. Here are some links regarding mold:

I have heard that both food allergies and mold allergies can produce symptoms of mental illness. An old family friend's daughter was thought for years to have bi-polar disease, but she ended up being allergic to wheat.
