Thanks y'all! I am soooooooo glad to be home! What a day!!!

My family is taking me out to a cheap, but good Mexican restaurant tonight for dinner! LOL! I sure didn't feeling like doing any cooking after the day I had at work. :-) The nice thing is my 3 kids (all older) and my dh & I are all going to dinner. A rarity when the whole family goes out. So I look forward to a nice evening with my family!

And I think the cat wanted to eat that snake! LOL! I don't think the snake even knew it was being watched through the window by my cat! LOL!

This snake has been living in my yard for years! I've seen it climb large bushes, eat lizards, and I've almost stepped on it from time to time. :-)

I also get these Red Rat Snakes in my yard. My daughter actually had 2 as pets years ago. This is one climbing DOWN the exterior wall near the same area that the other snake was at. This snake was climbing down below that window ledge. LOL!

Some days it just doesn't pay to get outta bed! LOL! The snake doing the zig-zag looks like how I feel after a rough day at work! :-)

Good Grief ai just remembered where you live LOL the snakes we have here in Kansas are bull snakes, garter snakes, rattle snakes, black snakes and non of them are pretty like yours! ':) hope you have a good day tommorrow..

I freak out when I see a garter snake. At least this year, thanks to Jerry, I have learned not to kill them. Now, I just run the other way. Thing is we have had copperheads in our back alley and that is NOT a nice feeling.

I have hummingbirds, too! :-) I enjoy all the critters. We also get rattlers and coral snakes! =:-O There are a few advantages to living in south central Florida. The down side is the Hurricanes and heat ... :-)

Colin, don't you have critters - winged, furry, scaled, etc. - where you are? I think I may be about to get jealous of you!

bluespiral...yes we do.... we have wood pigeons that eat my brassicas... we have white butterflies whos babies eat my brassicas and we have slugs and snails that eat.... well anything rare and expensive.... then they eat the brassicas...lol ... i love them really...even the snails... thats why i plant lots of brassicas :-)

which brings to mind a silly snail joke...

Colin - LOL! about the pet snake named Tettle. They made good pets for my daughter until they just got too big to cage. They are beautiful snakes for sure!
