I did. That winter shot was awesome!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thank you, ladies. You never know how people will vote - what appeals to them, etc. I thought a few of my other entries were better than the two that were picked. But I really appreciate it.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

I love that winter photo, too. I'd love to hang it in my home

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Be my guest! I can send you a high resolution copy and you can print it out.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Really? You'd do that for me? I'd LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Thank you!!!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

those were some excellent pictures!! Congrats to all the winners!

Now where is this article from victor?

I cant find it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No problem, Candyce. Bill - it was not an article, but a post. It was a tongue in cheek 'whine'.

Cheese also?

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Not only a whine, but a loooooooooong drawwwwwwwn out one.

Me pictures, too, Victor...

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Of course, one must always have cheese with 'whine'!! LOL
Yes, congrats to all the winners. I didn't fare so well with my picks. I picked a few runners-up.

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

congrats to all who entered for making it what it is. I love to look at photos so I really look forward to the contest each year!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

victor that was great - bringing your kids into it thought........... You are really working them for next year:) And you get picked for one in a shed? With all those assume shoots we've seen all year. Between you and shelly i decided not to even look for the contest.

Songsofjoy - your photo were beautiful!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

soj i wrote that and did not even know you had posted

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

Victor - make a calendar on the computer with all of your fabulous photos and have it spiral bound at Staples for a couple of dollars!!! It's a fun project and then your kids get a calendar of your pics every month. Eleanor

NORTH CENTRAL, PA(Zone 5a)

I bought calendar software for about twenty or thirty bucks. Every time a guy get his first buck or bear in our hunting camp he gets a calendar with all the factors of the year worked in. It must be user friendly software cause I can use it. They really like it. Don't know why anyone would not like to see his or her garden in the same format. Kinda fun..........go visit a friend and say nothing. Shoot lots of pix and make a calander for a special date of your choice. I once did a wedding. They ask for a second copy. This in competition with all the wedding pix shot by professionals went over real big. Like any software it will keep you on the learning curve until you learn then it comes back to you every time you make one.

For work like this I use Sam's Club best photographic paper for about sixty to seventy cents a sheet. True you get what you pay for. The best is still the best and it is not what Sam's Club sells but for this it is fine.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Eleanor and Dwaine. Though I was joking about the calendar, it does sound like a fun project to do with the kids. But we will do family photos, not garden ones.

Or the family in the garden.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Or the family actually helping me in the garden. Fat chance!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

heehee

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

You can always dream, Victor, that the kids will help you in the garden. I know I do!
