Just wanted to say Congratulations!!! ALL the photos were beautiful and there was some stiff competition. Kudos to those of you who placed or came in as one of the runners ups!!!

Picking the winter months was kinda tough since there were no winter scenes.

Yes and 3 foilage colors. Our colors tick out of time in a month or so.

Yes, congrats to all. I think that they are/were all wonderful. I'm glad that somebody already asked you were that picture was taken Deb, so now I don't have to! Dahlia, of course I'm happy for you that there was a dahlia that took top honors!

Victor, if you're keeping track, that might have gone down on Santas list as a 'naughty'. Using your poor kidlings to instill guilt and remorse tut tut. Sharron is right all. Check out Victor's award winning speech on the contest site. Perhaps Dave will make a new catagory next year for swan songs or sob stories? There may be hope for poor Victor yet ^_^

I love it Dahlia...I have laughed all day. Victor's Swan Song must go down in annals of time.

I think I might have to write an article on this one: "Victor's Swan Song" or "The Demise of the Great Victor-y Garden-er". Sounds DG-ish to me.

Honestly, Victor, I have not laughed so hard and so loud in such a long long time. Thank you for such a boost. I will never need a happy pill again.

Me too Sharron. I'm still laughing. An article on the the DG Photo Contest would be great actually. I don't think all members know about it although Dave and Admin sure do a great job with the clickies on your home page. You could fit in the Victor-y speech as a epilogue on 'Where Are They Now' like they do with people who won the lottery or in this case what happens when people don't win FIRST. That's what's so funny I think. Be sure to note the 'mention thingy' phrase. That's my favorite part... along with the 'dave,dave,dave' chant.

Victor, that was too funny, My hubby thought I was crazy while I was reading it.
