:( Miss DG for a week :(

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

I'd be missing DG and all the 'action' for a week from tomorrow. I'm leaving for Chennai to play cricket for my organization. I feel like taking permission and applying for vacation !!

No need for permission,enjoy' Sis'

Dinu, do enjoy yourself! What organization will you be playing for? We will miss you, but rest easy your DG family will be here when you return.

Good Luck!

The pent up frustration of not being able to come to DG should make you very aggressive in the match! So get out there and use all that frustrated energy and WIN!

I'm back. But my back said "I am behind you!" I pulled a muscle in the back in the final match and could not help win the game for our team. I was representing the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and our HQ is in the capital,New Delhi. (my homepage gives you some more details if you visit it by clicking on my name here). We lost the final. But I had done well in the previous two games which we won. My back is almost OK now after exactly a week. Treatment: Homeopathic remedies. It has healed up the soreness this quickly.

Michelle, I did hit the batsman (batter) on his helmet twice. I'm a fast bowler. At the valedictory function, me and my other team-mate were 'honoured' for having represented CSIR continuously for 15 years. Infact, mine is 19.

I think we should still elect you "Miss DG" for a week! How about it?! John

I agree John, congrats Dinu, it's all about playing anyway, right?? :)

Yep, tiG. Thanx everyone. "Miss DG"! Wow. In fact, Mister DG missed DG for a week!
Our CSIR, as mentioned earlier, is headed by a DG. Not Dave's Garden, but Director-General. Sometime ago, our country had a Prime Minister for a short while. His name was Deve Gowda(pronounced as dhaey-way-gow-dah). Another DG!
