Hi Deborah! :)
I believe that there are a few spots open. Starlight will confirm with you I'm sure.
First part of my list is now on the lists thread!
Now, don't be shy and dig in. There's enough for all of you. Or at least most of you!
Oink Oink is what I want to hear!
PS
Second part has been added now!

OK I think I'm up to speed. I've added all the requests that I've noted in my "haves" and "wants" post on the list thread. Please double check to be sure I've not missed anyone's requests.
Danita - may I have a pkg of your blue basil?
Pamsue - may I please try your fat and sassy pepper?
Critter - I don't think I got any seed from my creeping thyme this year either. Last year it was loaded and I'm not sure if I just missed it this year or if the seed was lost to our early frost (which was what happened to a lot of my usual good producers.)
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=5777174
cheles_garden, I've got ya down for the 2 columbines.
Mamawk, I've got dwarf 'Sonota' cosmos, collected seed from white, and commercial seed of mixed colors- they get 2-1/2' tall. I'd love some of your Dwarf Jewel Yellow Nasturtiums.
Meredith, I'd like some Scarlet Monkey flower and 'Fastigiata' Mallow.
Thank you Critter!!! There was no feasible way for me to scroll through multiple threads just see if something has changed. Whew! Did I already say....Thank You!
Listed some new stuff up on ourlist threads. More yet to come.
This Little piggy went to Market..
This little Piggy went to play...
This little Piggy went to Dg and oinked..oinked.. oinked.. All the way home.... LOL
Heavinscent - can you please add canna tiki torch and mixed brugmansia to my trough? oink oink
Gypsyrose, where are you growing the Everlasting Sweet Pea 'Pink Pearl'? Does it really need a boggy spot like PF says, or would it be OK in an area that's sometimes wet, other times just normal (irrigation if it gets dry)? I'm intrigued, but I don't want to ask for the seed if I don't have a suitable spot for it. :-)
Ella, may I have some of your dutchman's pipe?
Cordeledawg
from your wants list... I have ==>
Rudbeckia Hirta
Coreopsis Grandflora - Early Sunrise [P]
Plains Coreopsis [A]
bronze fennel
Hosta [i have a lot of Winsome - which is a small hosta ... and i think i got some Patriot this year]
Gallardia - the more common Indian Blanket one
let me know if you want me to tag anything for you.
Terese
Cordeledawg- I have Echinachea Merlot and Summersky, Gaillardia Burgundy and Tojaker. And I have more hosta seeds than I want to type. How many would you like?
mao
maozamom - can I have some of your datura ballerina yellow? oink :-)
Lala - I'd like to add some Gaillardia Razzle Dazzle and 4 o'clock broken colors. oink oink
This message was edited Nov 13, 2008 9:28 AM
cheles- I've saved your datura seeds
Tuinkabouter, I'd love to try any of these...
Agastache 'Pink Pop'
Aquilegia clematifolia 'Green apples'
Dianthus superbus ‘Spooky’
Geranium maculatum
Lavandula stoechas
Malve sylvestris (I have 'Zebrina' but would like to try others)
Nepeta prattii
Penstemon serrulatus
Tanacetum parthenium
Thalictrum aquilegifolium "Album"
Vigna caracalla (see comment below)
What color is your heirloom Hippaestrum?
Also, I do have a couple of seeds from last year of the V. caracalla, but I'd like to start a few extras for DG friends... so only include me for this one if you have plenty to go around. I know they are hard to come by!
Gosh, that was a piggy list... I'd be happy with just a few from it! I will have to do my best to put together a nice selection of basils for you. :-)
Starlight, if your Sweet Pea 'Winter Elegance Blue' is a fragrant variety, I would love to add it to my MIL's new sweet pea trellis for some early blooms...
Okay here is what I have so far, let me know if I missed something. : )
Pamsue - L. michiganense
Danita – M.cardinalis; ?Little Lanterns?; D. exaltatum; ‘Fastigiata’
Perenniallyme – L. michiganense
Maozamom – Sweet William; D. exaltatum
tcs1366 – ‘Panorama’ Monarda
MamawK - Balloon Flower –
gemini_sage – M. cardinalis; ‘Fastigiata’ Mallow
starlight – M.cardinalis
*The Mimulus seeds are like dust so even just a pinch is thousands of seeds so I should be able to give enough to everyone that requested some. Probably at the max on them though.
I may not be able to take any more requests for the Tall Larkspur – D. exaltatum but if you are dieing for it please ask anyway because I’m sure I could split it so there is enough for everyone plus I might be able to get more off the plants brfore the swap deadline those darn things are the only thing still blooming here. They must be very hardy!

I meant to say I can offer at least two more packs of Sunset Hyssop - Agastache rupestris as well and I saw Critters askings for Tuink - I haven't had time to check her list but - Tuink, if you have enough Geranium maculatum to spread the love I'd love to try it too. : ) oink oink
>>Sunset Hyssop - Agastache rupestris
Meredith -- you have me down for some of those, right?
Hopefully next year i will be able to contribute seeds.
yes tcs - I have you on my main list : )
which I still have to put on our new thread for lists only - I'm just trying to organize what I have to edit on it : )
I had a lot of fun going through Tuink's list! I just clicked to find the PF link for anything whose name I didn't recognize... a few (like Lamb's Ear) made me go, oh, I should have recognized that botanical name LOL... but I learned about some new-to-me plants as I went down the list also. So having only the botanical names was actually a lot of fun -- and much easier than trying to guess what somebody means if they write "blue daisy."
Of course, one of the great things about this chatty swap is that I can always ask about any plant I don't know -- and that's a whole lot of them! LOL
Tuink I looked at your posted list and any of these would make me a very happy piggy Oink Oink : )
Callirhoe invoculata
Echinops ritro
Mimulus ringens
Papaver orientale ‘oriental reef’
Thermopsis villosa
Veronicastrum virginicum "Pink glow"
either one of Rudbeckia hirta "Gloriosa mix" and 'Irish eyes
Nicotiana sylvestris
Maozamom, thanks for the lavender DL crosses... probably 'Indian Giver' & 'Trahlyta'?
I do like reds, but I am more fond of burgundy shades and rose-reds and not so much fond of orange-red colors. Looking over your list, maybe 'Lurkey Boy' or 'Stephan's Red John' might be good to try. I have 'Dragon's Eye' and 'Pardon Me' in my yard, and I'd love to try any cross you made with them... Thank you for offering these! :-)
If anybody is wondering about growing DLs from seed, you can find a lot of great info on the DL forum... and also I wrote an article about how I've done it, http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/989/. It's worth waiting for the wonderful surprise of the blooms!
Critter- I just read your article - thanks - but am wondering as you said nothing about needing a cold period. My daylily seeds are in the refrigerator as I must have read somewhere that they need a number of months of cold to germinate. Is this not the case?
Thanks for any info.
I'm trying to look through everyone's lists still but I really am excited about these!
'Heavenscent' can I try your Plumbago auriculata?
I store my DL seeds in the fridge also, and I think I've heard other people say they give them at least 3-4 weeks of cold storage before sowing. If you purchase DL seeds, they will generally already have been cold treated. Badseed did a fun intro article on hybridizing DLs, but I'm not sure anybody has written about collecting/storing DL seeds... hmm. :-)
Thanks Critter. I'll try to go back and find my research. Just realized we shouldn't be talking about this on this forum. Sorry Starlight. Will try not to do it again!!!
I think it's fine to ask questions about the seeds or plants here... if we seem to start in on a lengthy topic, we should move it somewhere else, of course.
critter- I've added the DL seeds
I'm no expert at growing daylilies by seed, but by my experience they have an excellent germination rate by winter sowing.
mao
Critter, Starlight told me before that if it isn't directly to do with the piggy swap, to put it on the sister thread at cottage gardening (when I asked about tricyrtis seeds).
Meredith -- can you put me down for some 'regular' Joe Pye? i know you have to go collect it... if you'd be so kind.
this is one plant i really wanna have, but have had no luck sowing yet. ... 2 yrs and counting.
Terese
No problem it's easy to go get some!
Meredith - I'd love to have some of your blue lobelia and scarlet monkey - they do look like they'd go great together!
perenniallyme, I think now that we've got our lists in a separate thread, chatting about the plants isn't such the problem now.
Hi Andrea (mygypsyrose)! I knew I'd see you again. Do you still have a Penstemon 'Red Rocks'? I'd love to add it to my "red" plants. :-) Thanks!
~chele
Oh, and forgot to add a couple of things. I've add 2 kinds of Feverfew to my Have list- had forgotten about those.
Also, I've got a few Zinnia 'Envy' seeds I saved in '07. I've seen them referred to as heirloom and figured saving seed from them would work. When I collected the seed, I only collected from the plants with the fullest, most doubled blooms. Those should be ok to offer, shouldn't they?
Also have a few species Dahlia seed from '07 and curious about the viability of those. They have single blooms in rosy lavender and magenta-wine.
Thanks Gemini.
Tuinkabouter, may I have some of your aconitum carmichaeli? Also do you know the cultivar or color of your heliopsis helianthoides? I'm looking for double orange - already have double yellow.
Oink oink Mr. Sage. May I have a few of your dahlia seeds?
Robyn may I have some Silky Gold Butterfly weed?
:-D

Cheles - I put you down but I am not sure if there is enough mimulus cardinalis I will try to get some in your baggy though! : )
