You deserve them! Sounds nice and romantic in the hottub!!

Well we certainly enjoy it, I get in with a glass of wine and Steve with his beer and we watch the deer roaming around the field and try to talk about happy days!

Neat one Terri, reminds me a lot of my burning pickle pic the one that was supposed to be a bird of paradise.
Yep we have a great spot here no complaints, very quiet most of the time and field and woods across from us full of deer, turkey and an occasional fox and yet just minutes from town.

Oh yes, wasn't it a pickled gherkin or something? LOL! That would be nice and bright to hang up in the new cafe. I'm sure we packed it from the old cafe', but I haven't seen it for such a long time!!

I got these pretty pink tulips for £1.25 at a market stall!

I tell you Terri, if I had done the same those things would have been so croaked, you do have a nac and they musta been in there just waiting for your magic touch!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Awwww daffs are hardy. I pick them mostly in a bud stage and they last for almost 5 days or so...I dont even cut the ends.. I nip them with my fingernail when picking them and toss them in a vase. They seem to appreciate cooler weather.

london England, United Kingdom

Thanks Candee, but guess what? they didn't open, so much for the magic touch LOL! Being in the warm shed for a couple of days and sweating in the plastic bags didn't help. Oh well, they were half price!!!

Watseka, IL(Zone 5a)

Hey terri, since they did not open, looks like you got half off for half price! RRR!

Put them in the cooler for overnite.. maybe that will pop them

Hey, when you get them from the store do you get that packet of preservative too?

Floralite or something I think it is called?.

The daffodils don't come with any flower food!

These stocks were £2.99 for 4 stems, I got pink and purple. They had a flower food with them.
