Lay the lay flat bag on the ground. Cut one hole in the center just big enough to slide the garden hose in. Slowly fill the bag until it's puffed up and water starts coming out the little hole. Then let it sit a good 1/2 hour to make sure the coco coir is all hydrated. Then roll it over and cut 4 slits in the bottom evenly spread. Now roll it back over and the excess water will drain. Now you can make x cuts in the top to plant your seedlings or seeds. Notice I use drip stakes to water mine. They are connected to my automatic watering system.
As far as fertilizer goes, the stuff I use has all the nutrients you need for beautiful veggies and flowers. You would need nothing else. So let me sell you my fertilizer and it will save you money in the long run. Pound for pound it is cheaper than Miracle Gro anyways.

So the 4 holes you cut go to the bottom for drainage and then you make the slits on top for the plants also right? Do you think the veggies will be safe from nematoids in the grow bags?

I'll put the fertilizer for sale in the marketplace tomorrow. Right on the slits and holes. Someone a few days ago said the nematodes would not be a problem when using the bags.I'm assuming they are right.
