lol I hear ya there also, I am so glad I am "over the moma can you" thing. I still have the hubby thing, I gotta keep him he is ok!!!!! My chickens are the world. All they want is Feed me and it is so simple to do.

I have been silent on this subject for a long time.. but just thought time to say.. it is very nasty for you all to be talking very poorly about someone who is not here to defend themselves..
this is a someone I really don't know, so I cannot defend any specifics.. but I can say I am certianly glad I did not come to any of you for real assistance in my dire time of need..
I thought of all of you as friendly chicken people.. all of which I would welcome into my home..
I am afraid none of you would handle us very well.. we actually take care of each other.. no matter what..
We don't speak "out of church".. we don't gossip about each other..

I would go running from thread to thread to say my good-byes.. but thought that was way tacky when head melody said goodby for a minute.
I prefer to live on my farmette and hear the clean clear breeze blow through the pines.. vs the hot air blowing around the coop at Daves.

Excusses me Did I miss something.. I have been reading on this forum for a couple of months and I have not seen anyone talking bad about any one except someone mistreating chickes. I am can;t have chickens or other livestock but this is one of my favorite forums.
I'm sorry if any comment i said offended anyone i was only adding to the joke above and it was not aimed at any person or person's i would never make fun of anyone.
I thought luvs was refering to visiting realtives and i know those can be disruptive it was simply a joke and thats all.
I hope i'm not the head melody because i don't think of myself as being that and i hope others don't either.

Harmony I do not think you said anything to offended anyone. At time cross postings well come out odd and if someone is not on top of it well it may throw them off. I look and looked and could not find any thing that would fit what she was talking about. ??????

Sorry that you seem so terribly insulted. I wonder if you misread something. Is it not OK for someone to rejoice that things in their life are getting better? Its awfully rude for you to say you'd never go to any of us for help when I know how much these ladies have extended themselves to help people.
I sure hope you were just having a bad day and rethink writing off Daves entirely just because of a misunderstanding.

what are you talking about. I don't think I or anyone else was talking bad about anyone. I don't know what has your knickers in a ruffle, but I am the kind of people that support my friends to the end no matter what. I always take care of each of my friends and often give to much of myself to my detriment.
I am sorry that you think we are a gossipy group, but I think you are totally mistaken. I have never gossiped about anyone and resent the fact that you are implying that any of us are gossipers.
I hope that you do stay with us as we love to have you and your imput and to answer your question or reply to your comment. I would be there in a minute to help or lend aid, even though I do not know you personally.
If you decide to leave it was nice to have chatted with you and have a great chicken life on your farmette.
