It will spawn little trees that grow astronomically fast--the seeds catch along a building foundation and then take off. Then as they grow they will crack the foundation.

While the pretty lavender flower clusters are appealing, they are very damaging trees and deserve to be cut and the stumps brushed with herbicide!
