(Zone 1)

Alright, first call has been made and what a pretty Kohleria that is too!

I spent the day in Orlando and just got home. Great day, great friends and we watched a great college Basketball game at the Orlando Magic Arena! What fun! I had never been in an NBA arena before. I don't know why they let the college hold a game there before the Orlando Magic game tonight but I know those kids really got a kick out of playing in a pro venue! The Orlando Magic game is just starting now, we are watching it on t.v. Our team and some of the parents stayed to see the game in person but others of us didn't want to pay the $60 ticket price and some have to work tomorrow so wanted to get home. It's an hour drive from Orlando back here to Daytona Beach so we stopped for dinner and came on home.

I hope everyone had a great day and is ready for this fun bingo game!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

I am so ready!! I didn't know whether to reply to this thread or the other one, because it said reserved for call updates.Remember I am new at this and not sure what I'm doing.

Hi Lin,Sounds like you have a good time yesterday in Orlando. 60.00 a ticket to watch a game.Yikes.I don't know how family's do anything these days. It's so expensive.

Lynn,This thread is for all the chit chat that goes alone with the game, feel free to chat all you want ^_^

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Morning All,
Just voted and was an hour line... Ok maybe 50 mins... Off to take my bath and off to work...Happy calling.
Hugs,
Susan

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Good morning Susan!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I love the Kohleria. The pink AV is also nice. :( I don't have either.

(Zone 1)

Ibrabec/Lynn: Where it says Reserved for Call Updates is where Jannich will list the calls that have already been made. As this thread gets a bit longer with chat it's easy to sometimes miss a call so you can go back to the top of the thread and see the list of what's been called already!

Jan: Yes, I had a great time in Orlando yesterday! Some of us didn't plan on paying $60 for a ticket to see the NBA game so we just left after our college game and stopped along the way home for dinner. There were 9 of us in one of the University Vans. Great group of people, we all get along and have a lot of fun together. Got home in time to watch the Orlando Magic/Chicago Bulls game on television for free! LOL.

Today's call, "Rob's Miss Priss" is stunning! I can see myself starting an AV wish list once again! I love variegated foliage and pink flowers and those pale pink blooms are so pretty against that foliage!

Susan: Sorry you didn't get a card in to play Bingo with us this month. I hope you are feeling better and will be able to play the next game! Oh, I could never stand in line like that! I have no patience but my back won't take standing that long either! I've heard some folks have had to stand in line for 2 1/2 to 3 hours and I am so glad I always vote absentee through the mail ... it's so easy! I wonder how the lines are going to be today? My husband got his absentee ballot too late to mail it but was able to drop it off at the main library here in town on Saturday. He was stunned at the long lines!

Hi ya Makshi! How are you doing? Hope you are feeling better too. We are glad you joined us for the game!

Well, I'm off to run some errands, will check back in later!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

We voted Sunday and because I am in wheelchair and on oxygen they took us to the front of the line. If we had to stay it would have been 2-3 hours in line.

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Hey Lin,Free is for me. ^_^

Anyone growing AV Miss Priss?? I would love to grow that beauty!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

makshi,
I don't really know you at all,but it certainly sounds as if you are a very courageous and lovely person.I admire your spirit.

If you scroll down this page to the Episcia's: http://www.gesneriasterna.se/ger/foto.php?start=AA&stop=KA there's another gorgeous 'Showtime' plant in a hanging basket that is really awesome!

There's only one photo in PF: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/186181/ I hope if anyone grows 'Showtime' they will consider uploading their pic's here!
