OH MY aged .. how nice to be able to go outside and get your OWN Holly :-) it looks just wonderful, as does Willow.
As I type this, our Smokey is stretched out in front of the woodstove in a sunspot .. OH to be a cat !!!

Christmas Cactus .. my nemesis !! When my Mom passed away I brought hers to my home. Hers bloomed twice a year .. gorgeous Fuschia pink flowers .. well .. I think that plant and my Mom had a deal .. because .. even though I set it in an east window (just like Mom) and I gave it weak tea every couple of weeks, just like Mom .. that dang plant would NOT bloom for me .. and .. sadly .. after 6 years I had to let it go. Her African violets that I inherited have flourished .. almost too much !!!

Busy day here .. have just 'parked it' with a very nice glass of cold chablis .. WHEW .. managed to get some Pickerel fillets for supper .. haven't cooked that in a bit, and the last time was on a two burner Coleman stove at a shore lunch .. LOL

Will have 'boo' at the rest of your pics later Ann .. already know they'll be awesome :-)

Love your photo's Aged...you've done a wonderful job of the arrangement...thought perhaps you were all covered in snow in the East...I'd say we've about 2' so far..early for that much ..beautiful night tonight..have the christmas lights flickering to music outside..am sure neighbors are impressed..best go shut it off as I'm ready for bed...

Was a stunning day here today, sunny and about 14. I was out in the garden in jeans and a T shirt, dug up all the dahlias, cleaned and stored them then a big walk with the dog. I did cloud over but it was like Spring out there. We've got our christmas lights on now, up along the eaves, plain string of multi coloured lights. The neighbours have lots and lots of lights, inflated santas and snowmen, they light up the whole area. One last trip out with the dog then lights out!

Was snowing here this morning and then it got quite mild..wondered why I was chilled awhile ago then realized I was playing with the heat thermometer again..got to stop that!

Did same Linda last night coming home from shopping, drove up and down the streets, just so pretty..I've my lights on as well..found a box of snowflakes that get put into the ground..remembered Aunt in Florida bought them for me last year..so added them, when I was at Canadian Tire last night bought 3 boxes of lights, today while looking for extension cords, yep I found them so more lights got put out..must say it's awful bright out there..nicest part is last year I purchased one of the christmas song machines that you plug all your lights into and they blink to the music...so it's a show with music out there..I try not to put the sound too loud..must go knock on doors just to make sure I'm not annoying anyone..

Enjoyed working from home today..only 2 more days then back to work but only as far as Barrie..that's just so exciting.

Worked all day yesterday on Santa outfit for my BIL Lenny and just finished it, now worked on Mrs. Claus..she seems to be much more work..anyway hoping by Monday that project will be behind me..

I am so glad I'm ontop of Christmas this year..I truly can enjoy the entire month of Dec.

This morning after putting up lights while snow was softly falling I got in the mood to do a table decoration...

Had cranberries left from Thanksgiving,
went and cut a few pieces of greenery of my trees, some water and a few floating candles left over from last year and voila..a pretty piece..
