Please Post Your Zone?

Pembroke Pines, FL(Zone 10a)

So many ask for help in their growing zone/garden but they don't show their zone with their introduction? What are you afraid of? It does not disclose your personal data but does give us the info to answer your questions. I have asked people to post their zone after asking for help and yet they still don't! Why? They can google growing zones and find out if they don't know? It won't disclose their street address? I just can not understand!!

That will be helpful to all and especially to others that grow in your zone for what happens in one zone usually happens in another. Aries44 is zone 10b but I am zone 10A. What problems he occurs usually happens to me in a week or so. At least I get a "heads up" so that I can take the proper precautions and possibly prevent the situation? Thanks for responding! Now if others will only correct their introduction?

Maybe it should be a required field to answer when someone signs up on DG.

It would sorta go to proving you NEED a site like Daves. BUT I do mostly non-gardening things on it now---for reasons like cost and time needed to garden we're onl hold for that in our household but I still subscribe for the friends I've made.

While we're at it, I wish people posting to Bug and Plant ID would put a hint in the title of threads--if I knew I was looking at a tropical plant or bug from Asia , I wouldn't bother cuz I don't know any.
