When we went to visit Kathy in Alabama she took us to Wally's and their llamas had just had a newborn. Wally was carrying it around like a baby. So very darling. I bet it's getting big now!

Is it, Kathy?

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

yes sissy, its getting big, but is still cute as a button

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Awww...take us a picture Kathy, so we know what to expect!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Claire, next time i go to Wally's I will take a picture. Baby Llamas are so cute!

Clarksburg, MO

You can always tell when you are addicted to chickens. My father-in-law offered to get me somehatching eggs for my Christmas present and I was sooo excited. That's how you can tell you are addicted.

Sheila

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Sheila, our eggs are due to hatch on the 6th! you gonna be there for the mission?

(Zone 7b)

Claire how are your pretty llamas doing when is the baby due?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Hi Harmony!

I just wrote a blog posting about them! They are doing just great. If you are interested, you can read the blog post here:

http://chooksiniowa.blogspot.com/

It will tell you more about them and about Hazel getting along with the goats.

The baby isn't due until February. I can't wait! It will be so exciting. We have goat babies due in November and December, and then a llama in February. Life doesn't get any better than that! Well, not for me anyway!

(Zone 7b)

How exciteing to have all that to look forward too.

Clarkson, KY

{{{{{ if I disappear for another week will Claire have adopted zebras or wombats?? Or just a cuddly ocelot or two?? }}}

(Zone 7b)

I'm bettin it's going to be a donkey ;)

Grownut, your absence made me sad so I had to substitute for you by adding animals to my farm. See what you do to me? Geesh...

Clarkson, KY

Ummmmm......what does that make me, praytell??? Hmmmm?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

AN ENABLER (via dereliction of duty).

Clarkson, KY

Do you have any idea how much it takes not to be an enabler for an invincible woman such as yourself?!?!?

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Yes, probably no mention of animals. Ever.

General Ma'am! Yes Ma'am!! His momma (Cabernet) got fresh apples today. She was a happy momma. She does not look terribly fat yet. On the other hand, our pygmy goats look fatter every day.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

What herbs should I smoke for successful goat births?

(Zone 7b)

I was with a group of people at a indian gathering.

Sugar Valley, GA(Zone 7b)

They probably waved over you, as an outsider, to ward off any evil things...

Mox...When the time comes.. you need some sweetgrass, some white Cedar and some sage...That is the main ingredients...

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)
