I'm a color combo girl all the way. Grasses take up room for color. I like texture but not enough to sacrifice color. I do have both of the japanese grasses though. If my berm wasn't full of virginia creeper that requires weedwacking 2x/mo I might put lots of grasses there.

Not that I blame you a bit, Boojum. I sure love your color combos!
So which of the Japanese grasses don't you have, then? I have macra, Aureola, All Gold, and Albo Sriata. I don't have Beni Kaze. The macra is all green, but really looks nice next to the others. I put them together tight so the flow into one another.
