Today I found the most beautiful bee I've ever seen nectaring on my loquat tree. Can you tell me what it is? It was as pretty as any butterfly I've ever seen. I could not get a picture.
His thorax and legs were bright red. His head and tail section were irridescent dark blue. His antennae were black with white tips. His wings were clear, edged and veined in black.
Thanks for any ideas.
Kay
Can you identify this beautiful bee?
Maybe this moth?
